Burned into innocence.

The little girl was a baby, laying in a golden cradle which was decorated with many of the most expensive stones. A large pendulum was swinging above that particular cradle. The executioner set it in motion. The pendulum got more and more near to the child. The child got declared witch. The witchfinder found her to be a little witch. He made the baby confess because it cried. Terrible was her fate: slow death by the pendulum and then corpse burning. evilly smiled the judge upon his mistake, as the child died. The executioner took one half of the child and bound it tightly to a stake on a large pile of wood. When he had done that, he took the other part of the child and lay it on the little feet of the first part. Then as the spectators watched this justice being done he lit the fire. The crowd cheered as the child was purified from the most evil of sins. Betrayed by God or the Devil, the judge died watching from a fatal cardiac arrest.
