Song Explanations/Clarifications:

8/07/2007:Malleus:

I am waaaay too late with this explanation. These things need to be written while working on it, or when just finished, so I'll keep it short. The track "Malleus" is about the medieval witch trials, "the burning times". I had some inspiration from the malleus maleficarum, the book that led to the events. "Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live." and "Confess" Are the lines repeated in the track. I also like how toward the end the baby sounds and the goat sounds mix together one showing the frightening and surprising similarity between the two.

25/05/2006: Mirror Serpent:

I should have posted this long time ago, as this song is finished quite a while now and i'm working on something new now, but better late then never.

It is about an empire I once found scrying in dusty broken glass, in total darkness in a burned down building.
Pay close attention when you hear the words:
"I am Eternal.
I hate Life unhindered.
My Eyes are everywhere."

With the chanting I start the transformation from man to ophidian, reaching out to the Draconian images in the mirror. Seeing things as they see things.
Watching the world from the outside. Watching the world from a non-human point of view. Watching the world with Reptile eyes.
Watching the world with blood ran cold.
Descending to a myriad aetherial different worlds unknown to the mundane.

The song turned out different than I first wanted, but it sounds okay after all. And it has some special stereo effects thrown into :-). You can download the high quality 17mb version here , and the low quality 8mb version here (right click and choose, save as)

28/03/2006: Flandrischer Totenmarch: It is the most bombastic and powerful track I've made ever! it has CANNONS! And when i put the volume of my 500W surround system at 50 percent the low rumbling of the afterblasts shook the whole house! This track is a glorification of war, bravery, death and the Laws of our great merciless earth!
The music is based upon a WWI song from the frontlines, and that in turn was based on the totentanz songs of the middle ages when there was the black plague!
It is 16minutes, here on myspace it is a low quality version. Don't give me any credit for the scores themselves tho, it is more a remix or collage of the old notes/scores. I didn't even touched my midi keyboard for this. While making this I've been listening to this song all day now, it got me in a fucking trance. All i see now is war, death, destruction, corpses, skeletons, explosions, mud, mist, smoke, wounded, ... whether i close my eyes or not. You can download the high quality 30mb version here (right click and choose, save as)

24/03/2006: On the audio track called "Clock": First thing I like to point out is that the background noise you hear, are in fact musical notes. The instrument used has just a noise sound. And i like it how it from time to time manages to sound a bit like a bee. I like bees and honey stuff a lot, reminds me of childhood.
The ticking clock sound is later enriched by the sound of a heartbeat, I think the reference to time and life is quite obvious.
The girl with the shovel, i don't really know why, but it sounds creepy, lol.
The song you hear later in the track is a German WWII song. I modified it a little to make it sound like a wobbly bend 45" record. Yes if it was up to me, the Americans didn't "free" Europe, and we would live in a magnificent and pure European Empire that lasts for thousands of years. And instead of wasting resource and time on petty social nonsense, we would be reaching for the stars by now. I think history is all screwed up.
Close to the end are some mad female birds too.
At the end you hear the clock's ding dong to signify the end of living.
And there are those bees again... :-) to hear the track download here: ClockV01 or visit www.myspace.com/blasthornoxx

16/02/2006:Ok, so the next "album"(album=kinda relative u gonna have to burn it yerself, 'coz i'm gonna put it all up for free download anyway, real art should be made out of PASSION and not for profit!) I'm gonna make I think I'll divide into three parts; the first part wil be grim and timeless pagan ambient very burzum like. The second part will be eeri, spooky noise, and the third part will be a more aggresive kind of noise. Well I could also limit myself to the grim pagan ambient, and noise as the next part. I'll see about that. Anyway here is the next 'work in progress': Stormbird Melancholy V0.1 - a pagan track, rightclick and choose "save as" to download.

While this song is yet far from perfect, I think it is pretty good considering I only got my keyboard three days ago, and some of the software even less than that!

13/02/2006:And like i told you all, i was gonna do a new noise project. I just bought the equipment today (consisting of just a cheap keyboard, lol, that i hooked unto my laptop and then used sum free (erm, kinda) software to produce the 'music'. Here is the first testsong. Download and enjoy. The voice u hear, ...well isn't mine, hahaha!
